About, Daniel Højlund
Motion designer and UI artist with experience in design and animation for film, tv, games and brands.
Growing up and being nurtured in the quiet parts of western Denmark, I've since gone on to live, work and study in 6 countries. Along the way I have been spoiled with countless of precious life experiences and memories. For as long as I can remember I have always been drawn towards travelling and exploring new places and cultures, and I have had the fortune to meet many fantastic and inspiring people on my journey so far.
My path into design and animation springs from two bachelor degrees in Multimedia Design, and Interactive Design — both completed in Denmark. Exchange semesters and design diplomas done in Kuala Lumpur and Melbourne was included in these degrees.
I’m curious about using design in motion to help convey valuable stories and creating exciting new experiences, as well as using it as a tool to unite people across different languages, cultures and beliefs.
Currently I'm residing in London and working as a motion designer at Territory Studio. I've had the chance to go work at our San Francisco studio for 4 months during 2018, which brought along the opportunity to represent the studio at the Adobe booth at NAB in Las Vegas.
